Join us for a seven-day long yoga and meditation retreat with a specific dietary program in the silence of nature in Gorski Kotar.
The idea for this retreat came when Tena and Anna met. They joined their knowledge and arranged a special week for lovers of yoga, meditation, and healthy (raw) vegan food. This week is available for everyone who wants to relax actively, learn something new and let go of some unnecessary habits. Tena and Anna will share on this retreat what they live, practice and feel that everyone can apply in their daily life. Anna created for this retreat a dietary plan with raw food, lots of fresh juices and combinations that will awaken the natural energy of the body. Tena will guide you through yoga classes to improve digestion, purify the body and, with the help of pranayama, learn to balance your energy. Through meditation practice we will calm the mind. Ashtanga Mysore yoga, pranayamas, kriyas, mindful yoga and mindfulness meditation will be put in daily practice. Yoga classes are suitable for beginner practitioners. What is special about this retreat? A specific program with a recommended (individual) dietary plan will be sent to you a month before the retreat. This way a transition to the retreat diet will be gentle but progressive. We will also propose the kriyas, pranayama, yoga practice and meditation that we will practice together on the retreat. The guidelines that we suggest can fit into your routine even after our gathering. What is this retreat type? This is an ascetic type of a retreat, along the slopes of the small town of Mrkopalj. Silence, deep nature and modest accommodation will keep us simple. There are no shops, traffic, television or internet. Tena and Anna do not charge for their work, but they are opening up for donations that are free depending on your wishes and possibilities. |

The best thing we can do is to allow nature to take care of nature.
With natural practices and natural food for body and mind. • The assessment of the health status will be defined for each participant at registration. • We will send you a specific, individual program one month before the retreat. • All meals are prepared by Anna, Raw-Vegan Cook and Naturopath with Mihovil's help. • Meals will be eaten mindfully, in silence, feeling the richness of taste. • What's on the menu: Organic fresh fruits and vegetables with seeds and nuts in various combinations (juices, puddings, soups, salads, main courses, desserts...) prepared with love, vegan, gluten free and full of Prana. • Morning Ashtanga Mysore class is tailored for all participants regardless of your experience. Tena will be there to assist you in your practice. • We will practice pranayamas and kriyas together. • The afternoon Mindful yoga class is movement and relaxation meditation. • We will practice Mindfulness and Metta Meditation, partly guided, partially in silence, all the basics will be explained. • The retreat is being held in the tone of love, respect and non-violence both of ourselves and others. • Digital detox and many silent hours. • Evening lectures by Tena and Anna will be based on their experience with preservation of health through nutrition as well as through yoga and meditation. • Evening meditation with gong and music - sound healing. |

TENA
Tena teaches yoga with a mindful approach. This approach accentuates awareness of current experience and tenderness through "listening" of the current needs and appreciation of the quality of breath. On this retreat Tena will lead yoga classes, basic pranayamas, kriyas and meditation. More about Tena... ANNA nna is a health therapist (Naturopath) and an Iridologist. She helped many people around the world with serious problems to restore health. She will share her wisdom with us in everyday evening talks. Anna is a skilled raw vegan cook that will honor us with excellent food and fresh juices intended for detoxification of the entire physical system. More about Anna... MIHOVIL Mihovil is a student of Life and endless aspects of Life that are given to us. He is a creative and explorative spirit, when given an opportunity he loves to share his knowledge and experience of Life. Healthy mind resides in healthy body and that is why, Mihovil says, we are a result of the matter and energy that we consume through food. Mihovil joined our team after Anna’s lecture on healthy food because he felt he shared a similar personal truth about diet and wishes to contribute this community with his efforts. |

Accommodation
We will be staying at the Mrkopalj Ski House, which will be opened only for us. This is the last house in the village along the Čelimaša hills, so the forest paths are near by. We have 6 rooms with two beds each and two with three, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and large yoga and meditation shala. The space is clean and tidy without any decorations, like a hiking lodge. Price: 2600kn. The price includes the cost of accommodation and food. You will be able to leave donations for retreat organizers, Tena and Anna. Deposit of 600kn is required to be paid earlier to reserve the place, the deposit is non-refundable.
Transportation: You are organizing trip to Mrkopalj yourself. If there will be a lot of drivers we will help you connect with each other for shared cars. Capacity: 15 persons What to bring: Comfortable clothing for practice, personal hygiene stuff, medicines if you use any, raincoat, umbrella, waterproof footwear, home slippers, meditation pillow, yoga mat. If you do not have your own pillowand and/or yoga mat, please note and we will bring one for you. Bed linen and towels will be provided at ski home. Nature: Forests of Gorski Kotar are the habitat of bears and wolves. In the walks around Mrkopalj it is not uncommon to see a bear. In spring bears are not aggressive and there are no mothers with cubs. We have to inform you about this possibility and suggest that you take walks in a group. Also in the spring there are ticks and mosquitoes so we suggest that you take some repellents. You are taking part in this retreat on your own responsibility.
